Bought a car recently and it's been lovely. Can't fault it. I'm always very wary buying cars from any company but I would like to say it was quite a relief buying from Richardsons. Full service and mot and rectified any issues which were several hundred pounds before handing over the keys to the car. Not a lot of people would do that and that's why I'm giving 5 stars. Hopefully in the event of anything arising they'll be more than happy to help again in the future.

My old, sentimental car of 11 years finally had to be scrapped. I browsed a few car dealerships buy felt really comfortable looking around Richardsons. I dealt with Adi the whole process and this made it all so much easier. There are lots to choose from at this garage! I chose 3 cars to test drive and this was done with ease. My Mum and Grandad also came along and Adi treated them with just as much respect as he did with me. He answered any questions I had (there were a LOT as I haven't ever bought a car!). Everything from changing the tax and helping sort my old car - Adi helped with it all. I chose a really lovely Citroen C3 and 2 weeks later, i'm still very much in love with it! There were other products I could add on but Adi was never pushy and I chose what products felt best for me. I chose the warranty and I decided I will be taking my car to be serviced and MOT'd with Richardsons from now on. It was a really great experience! Thanks again!

Having no prior intention of changing my car, my wife and I saw a lovely red coloured Jaguar XE as we drove past Richardsons. Looking around it, Simon approached with the keys and politely asked if he could help us in any way. "No,just looking", so he left us to it. We really liked the car, but it was an 'out of the blue' situation! Being under no pressure at all allowed us to fully consider things. Half an hour later...deal done, in a professional manner. 3 years later, my Jaguar XE diesel is still running like a dream! Servicing and tyre replacement, obviously. But no additional costs in that time! Simon's team made such a great job of preparing the car and doing the Diamond Brite treatment. Despite approaching 7 years old, it's still looking like a new car! So much so that I've had 3 more family cars treated by them! It says so much about Richardsons selection of quality used stock! Am I a happy bunny?... You bet!

Woke up sun 11 th feb saw my car on auto trader 7 in morning had option to reserve for £99 so having seen only 1 pic but reading their reviews I did. Toby was in contact next day told me about car and did a walk round vid it looked excellent so I put down deposit, booked a train ticket for Fri my day off if you go from King's Cross it's cheap only £26 and Toby picked me up in my car to be. It was a no brainer exactly how described still no pressure from the guys. Anyway after the best cup of builders no sugar I have ever had ( he even took tea bag out lol. ) I paid up and drove home to Watford .I would like to say thank you to you all but especially you Simon , what a nice business you have built , you kindly sent me away with a guarantee I could use elsewhere because I live so far away You went above and did all advisory work even thou my little Skoda had passed mot , I am grateful , you are a kind soul in a weary world .10 Stars

Long distance car purchase
Nothing short of amazing, Excellent communications all the way through, being as I am from the other end of the country this was a must for me. Found a car I wanted and the Guys went above and beyond to help me acquire it, no pressure, very knowledgeable, friendly atmosphere. After a bit of a journey to get there I was offered refreshments an use of amenities, then got a tour of the site which is under expansion to house an even bigger choice of quality vehicles at affordable prices. My vehicle was absolutely mint inside and out, fresh mot, no advisories, new service carried out, drove away feeling blow away.

Viewed Audi online and arranged a visit to test drive the car. Was impressed with the vehicle and Adi was very efficient and talked me through the whole purchase process. Car buying made easy. From initial phone call with Simon the service was professional and friendly. The car was priced correctly for the age and mileage so no real need to negotiate. I left a deposit without viewing and collected a week later with a fresh MOT. Adi was prepared and welcoming for handover. Everything was as described. Excellent all-round service!
Three months have passed since I bought a Volvo V50 from Richardsons and, being a canny Scot, I'm not one to give praise until the warranty has expired! My experience, from first contact with the company, has been nothing other than positive. It's the first time I've bought a car on-line and unseen. Frankly, I know little about cars, but I knew what I wanted. I found it on the Richardson's website and did the recommended background checks. After that, I was in the company's hands. No pressure, in fact quite the contrary. I'd made up my mind, but Simon insisted on my seeing the walk-round video before concluding the deal. He met me at Lincoln Station in the pouring rain driving the car I'd bought. An encouraging sign. Back at the office, a welcome coffee and the paperwork gone through calmly and unhurriedly. Everyone was friendly, helpful and reassuring. A real team effort, for which sincere thanks. Only one thing I'd do differently, and that's not travel from Scotland to Lincoln and back in the same day. I should have stayed and enjoyed Lincoln and environs. Much more relaxing. A good experience means you tell others. Several friends now have Richardson's of Lincoln on their watch list. And, although I sent Simon's walk round video just to a friend in China to keep her in the information loop, she tells me she has posted it on her Weibo account. You never know what may result.

After my own car was written off I was in need of a new car quickly and came across a Renault Scenic on autotrader that Richardson's were advertising. They responded quickly to enquiries, and agreed to not deal with anyone else after we called to let them know we where on our way to view which was appreciated as we were travelling from nearly two hours away. We viewed the car and where very impressed with the service we received from Adi, nothing was forced on us and we didn't feel pressured into buying anything extra. There were a few minor issues with the car, as there would be with any car of that age group, such as the boot not closing correctly, but we were assured that these would be fixed at no extra cost. We viewed the car on Wednesday, and collected it the following Monday, fully repaired, serviced and with MOT. Can't fault the service we have received from this garage, it's nice to know there are still genuine car dealerships out there and we would definitely purchase from them again in the future.

First of all, this is not a local car sales showroom for me to go to but this is the third time I have bought a car from Richardsons of Lincoln. I urgently required a small automatic car and of course I looked straight away at Richardsons. I could not spare the time to inspect/see the the car until I collected it. (due to husband in hospital) Ade, the salesman assured me that it was a good buy, did all the paperwork for me and the first time I saw it was when I drove away in it, that is how much I trust them. He was right of course and I am very pleased with it. I trust this garage and its staff, Ade and Simon are very helpful but most of all honest.

Making a purchase after a car bereavement
Firstly ..I hate buying cars "¦ so when I was left alone to look and then decide which one I wanted to test drive, that was was great, an added bonus was that I was able to test drive it without a salesman accompanying me. That was so good as again I didn't want a "commentary" whilst I was test driving it .I loathe being followed around by sales people . They were there to ask and help but not pushy. Adi was polite , professional and efficient. He explained everything to to us and did exactly what he said he would do. It was a simple and straightforward process. I have already passed on their details to a friend who is thinking of changing their car soon. So far the car is running well and I am happy with it . Thanks for making this a painless experience.

Really enjoyable car buying experience. First part of the communication was with Simon. He was really helpful and responded quickly but without applying any pressure. When I visited the sales room there were no sleazy salespeople hassling you. Everyone was very friendly and conscientious. Had my 4 year old with me which can be distracting but Adi made her feel welcome and part of the experience so she was happy to sit whilst I dealt with everything. I thought it was a really nice touch that the car gets a new MOT and service with all advisories changed, giving peace of mind and when I noticed an issue with a tyre, Adi organised to have it replaced at a local garage to save me travelling out to Lincoln again. Great friendly Dealership. I first visited Richardsons on a saturday morning to test drive a car i had seen on their website. On arrival i was greated with simon who i had spoken to on the phone. Everything was ready and waiting for me to test drive the car,all my questions were answered promptly. I was made at ease by simon and made to feel welcome. After the 30 min test drive by myself and then a lengthy conversation afterwards i decided it was not the car for me. This caused no ill will or animosity from simon who understood my reason and his extended courtesy still continued.Later in the week i noticed they had the same make and model but a later reg and the coulor i was looking for. I rang richardsons again for a saturday morning test drive, again no problem at all even though the previous week i tested another car.Again after testing the car i was hooked,not only with the price of the car a 2016 honda jazz with low mileage, the colour i liked most. The salesman Adi was also great,nothing was too much trouble. I left a deposit for the car and awaited for them to contact me. The were putting a new twelve months mot on the car even though the excisting one was valid until october 23 and serviced the car. Now the mot produced a advisory of front brake pads getting a bit thin. Richardsons fitted new pads free of charge to cover the advisory but not only that they went one step further and fitted new disks, even though it did not need them for the test,they just did this as good measure to fit new parts together. I picked up the car, the handover was very smooth. I left not only with a fantastic car but a fantastic buying experience from the Richardsons Team. Looking around their cars they have a great choice with great prices so if your in the market for a car This car dealership is a good place to start. Many thanks Simon and Adi

Fantastic experience
I bought a lovely Passat from Richardson's recently. The cars are of good quality at very sensible prices.its a great family business and both Simon and Adi made it a good experience. There was no pressure, Adi left me with the keys to start the engine and look around the car, he was very helpful if I had any questions. He seemed very passionate about his job and you could tell that he would do his best to get it right first time and go that extra mile to make it a easy transaction. I did have a concern about whether cambelt needed changing, no hesitation they serviced car and got that changed. Also the spare key wasn't working, again not a problem they got one from VW Germany and got it programmed to the car at no cost to me. Fantastic service from start to finish. highly recommended.

Journey's End
Having had the good fortune to be able to buy a newer and more practical car, I looked at thousands online, and drove far and wide to see a great many. Exhausting and frustrating. Then, almost on my doorstep, I found my car at Richardsons. The sales team were incredibly helpful and friendly, letting me test drive the car alone, and even allowing my dog to come with me. It really did feel like a welcome end to my search for the right car, and I can only thank everyone at Richardsons for making the whole experience so special and rewarding. Thank you !

Great team at Richardsons
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my 2017 ford Edge from Richardsons Car sales Lincoln. I dealt with Simon who was very helpful from the offset. I am based in London so after a brief conversation he very kindly sent me a video walk round of the car as I wanted to have a closer look at the car before travelling up from London. The car was very reasonably priced as i had been doing my research for a few weeks prior. the car was in excellent condition and they had just had a new MOT done on it for me. The whole team was very helpful and honest and I would have no hesitation in purchasing a car from them again and recommend anyone looking for a car to have a look at their inventory.
